INSTRUCTIONS FOR ARTISTS & RASIKAS

Instructions to Artists

  1. All concerts shall start on time and end on time. A maximum delay of 15 minutes is condonable and delayed concerts beyond 15 minutes cannot be compensated with any extra time and may also result in pro-rata honorarium deduction.
  2. Artists must share their vehicle details with organizers to ensure parking space is available. It is the artists responsibility. Non-availability of parking space is not organizer’s responsibility.
  3. All SASTRA SATSANGH events are non-ticketed. Only a maximum of 4 seats shall be available for the artist team. If its required, it needs to be informed to the organisers with name and contact details 24 hours before the event
  4. No stage or floor seating is permitted under any circumstances.
  5. Outside photography or videography is not permitted. Prior permission needs to be obtained and shall be given only on case-to-case basis.
  6. Artists requiring video recordings may hand over hard disc to the tech team prior to the concert with adequate storage capacity
  7. All events shall be uploaded in SASTRA SATSANGH YouTube unless its requested specifically not to be
  8. No outside food or beverages allowed inside the auditorium or green room
  9. As a policy, full payment shall be made within 2 working days after the event on submission of proper bank and artist details. No advance payment shall be made
  10. Artists requiring additional infra support may do so at their own expenses subject to approval of organizer’s. If the additional infra is not required for the event as per organizer’s estimate, the same shall not be considered. If additional infra may cause avoidable damage or any sort of work, a refundable caution deposit has to be made before the start of event.
  11. Artists are expected to abide by a reasonable dress code of the organization
  12. Use of green room and stage is only for artists. No member of the audience will be permitted to approach organisers or artists on stage or green room for any purpose whatsoever unless invited on stage by the organisers.
  13. The auditorium will be closed within 20 minutes after the event as staff have a tight work schedule and need to leave to their places of stay without delay. The main gates shall close within 30 minutes after the event.
  14. All artists are requested to cooperate and support organisers to ensure smooth conduct of the events as much as the organisers shall be fully cooperative & supportive to your expectations.
  15. Organisers decision is binding on all issues explicitly stated above and on those not stated & may arise later.

Instructions to Rasikas 

  1. Instructions to Artists wherever applicable in full or part are applicable to Rasikas also.
  2. All events are non-ticketed. Some crowd-pulling events shall be based on prior online registration. Such event registration details shall be available online at sastrasatsangh.org 48 Hours in advance. Rasikas have to register and it is their responsibility. If the registration is completed, nothing can be done.
  3. Since the registration is free and entry is also free, any Rasika who registers and doesn’t turn up for the event shall be made ineligible for the next two events.
  4. The main gates shall open only 45 minutes before the start of the event for online registered rasikas. For events that don’t require online registration, gates open 30 minutes before only.
  5. Parking of vehicles only in designated places and once parking is full inside, it is the Rasikas responsibility to park their vehicles outside without causing any traffic issues.
  6. All events shall allow entry for rasikas only upto 30 minutes after the event starts. Later, the gates shall be closed even if there are vacant seats. Also, for events requiring online registration, entry will be allowed upto 15 minutes after event and others taking a chance entry shall be allowed entry. If seats get full before 30 minutes for online registered rasikas, we cannot arrange for any special seating.
  7. No entry for anybody after 30 minutes.
  8. No use of green room or stage for any purpose shall be entertained.
  9. No outside food or beverages can be bought inside the auditorium. Anybody violating shall be politely asked to leave.
  10. No use of mobile telephony or any other form communication inside the auditorium causing discomfort to others shall be entertained.
  11. Rasikas are expected to be seated properly without folding their legs or squatting on the seats as it may dirty/damage seats.
  12. A mini-canteen may be available on certain days when Q waiting time may be longer than usual. Rasikas can get whatever is available on their own. However, after event, suitable prasadham shall be given to Rasikas.
  13. Please don’t fall for any touts collecting money for our events. There is no such possibility and all events shall be non-ticketed basis only. Also, no online fee-based registration is possible and Rasikas are advised to stay away from such unauthorized touts and bring it to our notice if any such practice comes to your notice.
  14. Rasikas are advised to refrain from moving frequently to attend to phone calls while event is ongoing. This causes discomfort to others and in the event of any call expected beforehand, pls be seated close to the exit doors for the convenience of all.
  15. It is advised that Rasikas suffering from any infectious health issues during the event time may stay at home and watch online. This shall prevent easy spread of communicable infection.

  • Any Rasika wanting to be a member of the SASTRA SATSANGH Whatsapp Community may do so by sending an e-mail with Name, e-mail, photo-ID and WA mobile to satsanghsastra@gmail.com. Membership is free.
  • All event updates shall be shared in website and in SASTRA SATSANGH Whatsapp community and social media hanldes.
  • Any artist who wants to perform at SASTRA SATSANGH may send their profiles to the above e-mail ID.
